As soon as you step into the Kur-Royal, it becomes clear: the historic Kaiser-Wilhelms-Bad is a place with a unique history. As early as the 19th century, guests from all over the world came to Bad Homburg to enjoy the tranquility of the spa town, recharge their batteries, and experience the soothing effects of the healing springs. With the opening of the Kaiser-Wilhelms-Bad in 1890, this tradition was given a distinctive architectural setting.

To this day, the historic dome in the entrance area, original architectural details, and the hotel’s timeless elegance define its unique atmosphere. The Kur-Royal preserves this heritage and combines it with contemporary spa culture—for a retreat that uniquely blends history, quality, and rejuvenation.

Spa Etiquette

Well-prepared for your retreat: To ensure a relaxing stay, fresh towels and a “Kur-Royal” towel will be provided throughout your entire stay. Please bring your own swimwear and non-slip shower shoes. Outside the sauna area, swimwear is required throughout the entire Day Spa—there is no nude area available there.
